(Synth-Pop) Artist Grimes has ignited her long standing feud with (YouTube personality and Singer) Poppy. Grimes has accused the singer of  relaying false information for personal gain. In (2018) Poppy spoke out against Grimes and her team regarding their collaboration (Play Destroy). Poppy was quoted as saying "I was kind of bullied into submission by Grimes, and her team of self proclaimed feminists. We planned the song coming out months ago and she was preventing it. I got to watch her bully songwriters into signing NDA's (NDA's and not taking credit for songs that they were a part of. She doesn't practice what she preaches".

 In a response to Poppy's claims, Grimes stated that she was (Forced) into a disgusting situation by the YouTube personality and  singer. Now, 5 years later Grimes has once again ignited the flames. Taking to Twitter/X Grimes stated in a recently deleted post "she claims I used ghost writers and producers despite being unable to name 1. She spread false information for personal gain, that is cancel culture, I think that is wrong". 

As response to the post issued by Grimes, Poppy took to instagram, screenshooting the original post and captioning with the following, "are we still doing this? Lol, 5 years triggered. 

Further responding to Poppy's (2018) claims Grimes said "Poppy you dragged me in to a disgusting situation and won't stop punishing me for not wanting to be a part of it. I don't want to work with you, you leaked the song anyway".
